Retina iPad mini that was unveiled last week might be in short supply when it will be launched in November says Apple’s Tim Cook.
Tim Cook indicated that the company may not be able to keep up the demand for the new tablet. He said he isn’t sure if the company will be able to make the Retina iPad Mini to meet the demand this quarter.
Meanwhile the iPad Air is expected to be readily available. Despite the shortages, Tim Cook expects the iPad sales to grow by this year. He says both the products will do very well and is going to be an “iPad Christmas”.
He also stated that there’s been a robust demand for iPhone 5S and the company will ramp up the production to keep up the demand this quarter.
