Speeding up Google Now by some easy tweaks

If your device’s Google Now is not speed enough then you can do it by simple and easy tweaks. These settings can change the speed of the Google Now. You can do it by telling your browser not to search some local content and head straight to the website you want to view.

Here’s how you can do it:

  • Open Google Now.
  • Open its settings by clicking the button in the lower right corner of the screen with three vertical dots and tapping “Settings”.
  • Tap “Phone Search”.
  • Uncheck everything which you don’t want Google to search. Ideally you get the best results by unchecking everything.
  • Click back or home, your settings are automatically saved.

At first the searches you do might take little longer but after some searches it will be speedier enough. Actually by unchecking these don’t stop Google now from searching.

There’s another method which uses the Search Application Provider Service instead of the built-in settings. This method works perfectly well on any version of the android devices. Even on devices where the Google Search Widget is the problem. Like pre-ICS devices where you have Google Now turned off to save battery.
